Wideframe is an AI agent that speeds up the 75% of video work that happens outside the Non-Linear Editor. It helps teams save time and do more with their videos. Users link their video libraries to Wideframe and then work with our context-aware agent to tackle search, editing, and generative tasks. Our high-performance desktop app works across the filesystem and can even natively handle Adobe Premiere Pro (.prproj) files in and out. In our first 75 days since launch, we onboarded more than 50 brands and agencies. Many of them make tens or hundreds of videos per week for ads or organic social. What we discovered while building for them: 75% of their video work happens outside of the Non-Linear Editor. Most of our clients prefer to finish videos in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. They don’t want an “agentic NLE”. And they really don’t spend a lot of time in the NLE in the first place. They spend 4-5x more time each week doing research, writing briefs, searching for videos, scrubbing within videos, organizing sequences of a-roll and b-roll, producing rough drafts, getting feedback from their team and/or clients, and now generating content to augment their footage as well. We’re early into providing real value within this work. Our ambition is to become the default workspace where people and agents collaborate to get the most out of their video.
