D-Orbit USA is a joint venture established by D-Orbit, the European space transportation company, to enter the satellite manufacturing business in the United States. The venture aims to leverage the expertise of its American co-founders who have worked on satellite programs such as OneWeb, Project Kuiper, and Starlink, along with D-Orbit's experience with its ION line of orbital transfer vehicles.
