- P2M is engaged in the development of applications (both hardware and software) dedicated to the management, storage, and tracking of technical, production, maintenance, and functional information. The focus is on digitalization and improvement of process efficiency, increase of product quality, and proper end-of-life management of industrial components, particularly those made of composite materials. The system serves a dual purpose: 1) to accurately record, analyse, and optimise production processes throughout the entire product lifecycle, enhancing operational efficiency, quality, and safety; 2) it creates a digital passport detailing construction materials and production processes of composite components, guiding the future recycling industry towards proper end-of-life recovery/recycling processes. How? A chip “embedded” in the composite structure of a product will grant access to the software for the collection or consultation of its specific data, through any smartphone or tablet.
The idea of creating an innovative start-up originates from the previous experiences of the members, which have allowed them to identify effective solutions to the production and management problems that entrepreneurs face on a daily basis.
The founders of the newly established P2M, all engineers, have gained extensive experience in the naval and aeronautical industries. They have undergone specialized courses in advanced design of structural components and business management. Currently, they are working in the naval, aeronautical, and wind energy sectors. Their specific expertise in the production of composite materials, ranging from engineering to production management and Project Management, is particularly noteworthy.
