Arch Pet Food (Accelerator)

Company Description: Arch is a pet consumable company bridging sustainability and your pets’ wellness by utilizing alternative proteins, such as those from insects, invasive species, and plants. Relative to our products, we have created a proprietary blend of insect and plant proteins to make a dog food that is amazing for the planet, but even better for the longevity of the pup, their digestion, and their skin and coat. We are also selling functional treats (i.e. treats that focus on benefits like digestive health as opposed to creating treats with different flavor profiles). As a company, we are exploring more alternative proteins every quarter (with our eyes on fermentation-based, precision-based, and mycelium-based proteins in 2024-2025) and are enjoying excellent fanfare: we were a semi-finalist for best student-led venture in May 2023 by the Rice Business Plan Competition, one of the few companies showcased at the Future of Foodtech in NYC and the Future of Food in Chicago, and winners of Purina's Pet Care Innovation Prize in January 2024.
