Our Bio-Waste Plastic Substitutes are sourced from a range of bio-waste categories which can reduce the carbon footprint of traditional plastic by up to 80%. What’s more, they are not only cheaper than traditional plastic, but they also enhance the performance properties of the end-product. They work with a wide range of plastics allowing us to create a reasonably-priced oil-free alternative to traditional plastic. Our Bio-Cycle additive allows the plastic to safely bio-degrade at the end of its natural life (even after several rounds of recycling). Bio-Cycle breaks down the plastic at the molecular level creating a food source for micro-organisms. Once the micro-organisms have finished their meal, no toxins or micro-plastics are left behind - just biomass, water and a little CO2. Bio-Cycle works effectively on plastic litter in the sea and on the land, as well as in landfills."
