- Rwazi is a market intelligence platform that provides multinational companies with actionable data from developing markets on who is buying what, for how much, from where, when, and why to help them drive revenue and expand.
Emerging markets represent a significant opportunity for brands and retailers with rapidly growing populations, rising incomes, and changing consumer preferences. However, most sales happen offline, driven by cash transactions and informal trade. As a result, retailers struggle to gather enough data points to optimize their product and marketing strategies. Their best alternative is recurring to legacy market research firms which rely on sample-base approaches and macroeconomic data.
Rwazi utilizes a network of 100k+ local consumers (called "mappers") spread across urban and rural areas in 50+ countries in Africa, Asia, and South America, who use our mobile/web app to collect data from their localities - allowing them to tap into thousands of retail outlets, homes, and individual consumers, daily. By leveraging Rwazi, both local brands and multinational corporations can gain access to a range of data, including product usage, consumption frequency and timing, household budgets, and income, among other metrics.
