According to IEA, current carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS) techs capture only 2% of emission from heavy industries which is directly correlated with their cost/ energy inefficiency to transform the flue gas. They solved this problem by developing a chemical-based process that captures and utilize flue gas at profit with minimum energy demand. How does it work? They remodelled historical chemical-based carbon capture processes by adding new features which enable the process for integrated capture and utilisation. Their technology is more advanced compared to historical and novel CCUS techs: - It use the common process units (with modification) and has low risk for scale-up. - Their process is circular which mean the product of Rushnu is recycled back to the emitting plant - They cut >90% of emission from industries and make operating profit for the end-user by cutting their raw material demand. - Rushnu core processes use zero electricity.
