Company Description: Apian is transforming healthcare logistics, bringing everyday on-demand delivery to the NHS and beyond. Apian was founded in 2020 by NHS doctors Christopher and Hammad, and ex-Google Health entrepreneur Alexander. Our mission is to make people and planet feel better. We believe that healthcare should benefit from on-demand delivery much like consumers do in their personal lives. If a patient can have a pizza delivered in 30 minutes, why must they wait days for their lab test results or medication to arrive? Our roots lie in the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, from which Christopher and Hammad were the youngest ever graduates in 2019. Today, Apian is a diverse team of 20+ with backgrounds including air traffic control, transplant surgery, engineering simulation and global supply chains. We’re loosely based in London, but work across the UK and beyond. We're building an autonomous logistics network to instantly deliver medical supplies. Apian partners with the world's leading drone operators and ground couriers across remote and rural locations. Apian is an API. We integrate the healthcare industry with the drone industry, abstracting the complexity into a simple end-to-end system.
