Company Description: GBatteries is an advanced battery technology company on a mission to charge electric vehicles as fast as it takes to fill a tank of gas. If a product has a rechargeable Li-ion battery, their technology can drastically improve the charge time without causing degradation to the battery. The protocol can be applied to products including power tools, portable electronics, and robotics. Their technology can charge off-the-shelf batteries to 50% capacity in 5 mins and to 80% in 10 mins. This is significantly quicker than other “fast charge” technologies, while also decreasing the irreversible chemical reactions that happen during charging.
