Company Description: VERDE Nanomaterials is driving the industry shift towards high-performance and sustainable materials by making advanced biopolymers from agricultural waste. Our feedstock-flexible processing technology transforms various plant waste resources into high-value, biodegradable cellulose nanofibers cheaply and sustainably. Cellulose nanofibers are extremely versatile biopolymers that can replace plastics and other petroleum-based materials in many applications due to their unique properties (e.g., high strength, lightweight, large surface area, oxygen barrier, thermal stability, biodegradability, and more). VERDE's conversion process employs green chemistry principles and can generate nanofibers that are at least 10 times cheaper than conventional nanofibers found in the market today. By providing affordable cellulose nanofibers for commercial applications, VERDE will help the development of innovative, high-performance, and more sustainable materials in the circular economy.
