Passive Eye is a self-powered tracker. The idea came about several years ago from the news reports of the abduction of a little 5 year old girl. At the time I thought the chance of finding her would be so much greater if she had a personal tracker but then I realized that if she wasn't found in just a couple of days, the battery would be exhausted and the tracker would be completely useless.
