CroBio is a biotech start-up that harnesses the power of soil bacteria to combat decades of soil health decline and counter the impact of climate change. Plants absorb CO2 from the air and convert it into sugars around their roots. We’ve improved these tiny organisms that eat the sugars and then turn them into a sponge-like material. This material helps dry soils hold water better, making them more resilient to drought.
